// OUR humble BEGINNINGS
The Pugnacious Pilgrim has simple roots. That is to say, it was born out of the faith journeys of a couple of Christians who happened to be raised in a post-modern world.
As these pilgrims came of age in their faith, they also came face-to-face with the Bible. They began to see how the Gospel of Jesus Christ paints a very different worldview than the one being embraced by their culture. They discovered that truth, as it relates to God and life, is not subjective and there is only one way to salvation; namely, through the person and work of Jesus Christ.
As this worldview began to take shape in their lives and impact how they related to others, they also began to discover this reality: "The truth will sound like hate to those who hate the truth"
Here at the Pugnacious Pilgrim we love thinking deeply. We love the art of rhetoric and satire. We enjoy a good debate and will never shy away from controversy, simply because it's controversial. That being said, we also love Jesus and desire to grow and more faithfully live into the chief end of man, which is to to glorify God and fully enjoy him forever.
