Discernment Dies in Hysteria

A WOMAN DEFENDS A MAN, WHO WAS RIDICULED BY A WOMAN, FOR DRESSING LIKE A WOMAN.

Singer and actor Harry Styles—the first man to appear on the cover of Vogue Magazine—came under fire by conservative pundit, Candace Owens, for dawning women's clothing in his Vogue Photo shoot.

"There is no society that can survive without strong men. The East knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not a coincidence. It is an outright attack", tweeted Owens.

But in a strange turn of events, it was another woman—Olivia Wilde—who quickly came to the defense of her friend, by responding to Candace's tweet with a simple "You’re pathetic".

"This is truly amazing", said Hollywood Reporter Janelle Simpson. "What we have here is a woman, coming to the defense of a man, who was attacked by a woman. This is truly a sign that we are moving beyond the sexism and toxic-masculinity which have both hurt women for far too long."

After the original tweet went viral, instead of backpedaling Candace Owens doubled-down on her initial post by emphatically stating, "Since I’m trending I’d like to clarify what I meant when I said “bring back manly men”. I meant: Bring back manly men. Terms like “toxic masculinity”, were created by toxic females. Real women don’t do fake feminism. Sorry I’m not sorry."

"Our hearts certainly go out to Ms. Owens", said Simpson. "In many ways, she is a victim in all of this. She was triggered--when she saw Harry Styles in a dress--because she has been manipulated by the oldest lie in human history; that God gave Adam headship over Eve and therefore masculinity is strictly for men and femininity is strictly for women. If Candace was willing to be honest with herself, she would quickly discover—like so many liberated women already have—that the only limitations that exist are those which we embrace and place upon ourselves. They are prisons and penal institutions--or dare I say penial institutions—which have been created by men to keep women from our truest and fullest potential. We not only applaud Mr. Styles for his bravery, but we hope his courage and willingness to intentionally break down these stereotypes will liberate many other men and women and encourage them to do the same."
