Discernment Dies in Hysteria

WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE EVERYONE HAS A BEEF WITH LAB GROWN BEEF?

During a recent interview with the MIT Technology Review, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates discussed his environmental impact efforts and various green initiatives aimed at reducing global carbon emissions. One suggestion Gates proposed was for wealthy and developed nations to move entirely to synthetic beef in efforts to reduce the carbon emissions from livestock.

"I get it", Gates said. "I love cheeseburgers too, but we can no longer pretend our affinity for red meat isn't going to lead to the swift destruction of our planet. We're on borrowed time here. Al Gore told us years ago that if we didn't make changes then, human life might be extinct by 2020. Now, here we are, in 2021, and we know the lasting and irreversible effects of our eating habits—coupled with a rapidly growing population—no longer awards us the privilege of apathy or indifference."

That's when Mr. Gates made his pitch for the world's wealthiest countries to shift away from traditional beef farming towards an unconventional approach of lab-grown beef harvesting.

"I understand the idea of growing ground beef in a petri dish comes with a bit of a gross-factor connected to it", said Gates. "However, the benefits of lab grown meat should compel us to swallow our pride—figuratively speaking—and learn to stomach lab-grown meat."

Many critics have been quick to point out—after Gates’ recent statements about synthetic beef—that a photo of the billionaire waiting in line ad a Dick’s Drive-In in Seattle went viral across the web a few years ago.

"I'll be the first to admit it will take some time to get used to", said Gates. "But it's not like we're asking that much of people. Shoot, we've been eating White Castle cheeseburgers for the past 99 years, and I don't care how hard you try to convince me otherwise, there is no way those gut-bombs are made from real beef. We'll get used to petri-beef and when we do, we'll change the world."

It should be noted that Mr. Gates and other billionaires have recently invested large amounts of their money into synthetic beef companies. So, while American farmers are forecasted to lose the most from his globalist push to move away from traditional beef farming, Bill Gates and others have positioned themselves to make billions and billions of dollars from the change.

"That's only going to allow us to spend our money to help other people", said Bill Gates. "The only reason we make money is so we can give it away. We love people. We care about people. I'm a philanthropist at heart, but I can't promote the welfare of others if I don't have the personal means to do it."

Plus, with Mr. Gates having a controlling stake in the synthetic meat industry, he will also have influence into other modifications that can be introduced into the synthetic meat; including by not limited to vaccinations, microchips, and gene-modification measures.
