Discernment Dies in Hysteria

BIDEN: 'WE MUST STOP REFERRING TO FUTURE DEMOCRAT VOTERS AS ILLEGAL ALIENS'.

On Monday, President Biden made it abundantly clear that in no uncertain terms, certain terms will no longer be authorized for use by U.S. immigration enforcement agencies.

The terms "illegal alien" and "assimilation" are out—replaced by "undocumented noncitizen" and "integration."

The new guidance is laid out in a pair of detailed memos sent Monday by the heads of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection, part of a broader effort by the Biden administration to roll back the previous administration's hard-line policies and build what they call a more "humane" immigration system.

"We set a tone and example for our country and partners across the world," Troy Miller, the top official at Customs and Border Protection, said in his memo. "We enforce our nation's laws while also maintaining the dignity of every individual with whom we interact. The words we use matter and will serve to further confer that dignity to those in our custody."

We reached out to President Biden's office for further comment.

"Look, let's be crystal clear on this", said President Biden's representative. "We must stop referring to future democrat voters as illegal aliens. We can't alienate these future former undocumented noncitizens with labels that may be offensive. It is our duty as humans and responsibility as democrats to ensure they feel welcomed by the DNC, as they transition from their noncitizen status to legal and voting members of America's democrat party".

When pressed on the appropriateness and legitimacy of the words 'illegal' and 'alien'—both of which seem to be suitable descriptions for those who have illegally crossed the border as immigrants or migrants—Biden's representative pushed back.

"Listen, it's not that these aren't accurate words. They simply don't capture the humanity of these undocumented noncitizens. They aren't undocumented noncitizens by choice. Their circumstances are not their fault. It's Donald Trump's fault. And we don't want to ostracize or offend a group of people simply because they fit a certain label. It's inhumane."

We then asked why his administration so quickly seems to ostracize and offend Americans—with labels such as racists, xenophobes and bigots—for their choice to use the legal and applicable label of 'illegal alien' to describe these undocumented noncitizen future democrat voters.

"If intolerant nationalists want to continue to be ignorant and insensitive, we can't stop them. It isn't up to us to mandate language, unless we're talking about preferred pronouns. If Donald Trump and his basket of deplorables want to continue to use offensive and discriminatory labels to describe human beings who have found themselves in unfortunate circumstances beyond their control and are are simply looking for hope, by all means let them continue to widen the gap between these future democrat voters and themselves."
