After being declared America's next Vice President, by the mainstream media, Senator Kamala Harris became, not only the first woman in this office, but the first woman of color in this office as well.

When asked how she feels being confirmed as the first female selected to serve as America's Vice President, Senator Harris said, "It's really quite a humbling feeling. I've known my whole life how extraordinarily exceptional I am, but as an oppressed woman of color, I didn't know if my oppressors would ever allow me to become what I knew I was born to do. Today, the rules changed. America has spoken and young girls now know they can be anything! Unless, of course, their mothers choose abortion."
