Wilmington, DE — In what many view as a last ditch effort--by Republicans--to become relevant in this year's election, rightwing news outlets and politicians are trying their best to give legs to a New York Post story that has long-since been debunked by the main stream media and democratic leaders.
"There's really nothing new to see here", said Hunter Biden. "It's all just a big misunderstanding." When pressed for a clearer explanation of what he means by misunderstanding, Biden said, "I received several phone calls over a span of six to eight months. In each of these phone calls the person on the other end of the call was offering me a deal that certainly seemed too good to be true. Going against my better judgement, instead of ending these calls and reporting them to the federal investigators, I chased these opportunities." The opportunities Biden was speaking of, turned out to be lucrative business deals being offered to Biden by foreign entities; some of which had close ties to foreign governments. Hunter Biden, whose father was the Vice President at the time, became the target of what the Biden campaign is now revealing to be a political catfishing phone scam. "Ignorance should never be mistaken for intentionality", said a representative of the Biden campaign. "Yes, it was foolish for Hunter Biden to assume he had randomly hit the jackpot and that these deals were completely on the up-and-up. But can you blame him? He was trying to rewrite his story and he had already overcome so much. He's a truly remarkable man. He overcame a discharge from the military becasue of drug addiction and the scandal of fathering a child with an Arkansas woman while dating his brother's widow. Can you imagine the dark cloud over Hunter's head, being forced to carry this reputation around as the son of Joe Biden? Of course Hunter was venerable and susceptible to internet and phone scams. Many people fall for these traps, ever single year, and simply stated Hunter got caught at the wrong place at the wrong time. He's a victim, not the swindler he's being made out to be." When asked about the accusations of Joe Biden's involvement in these deals, the Biden campaign replied, "This is how misinformation works. People will take part of a story and use it to shape the truth in ways that are advantageous to their own initiatives. Did Joe Biden join his son at these meetings in Ukraine and China? Yes! There we said it publicly for the first time! However, the only reason Joe joined his son was to ensure that he would no longer be manipulated and exploited. So, Joe attended these meetings but never in the official capacity of his office. He always did so as his son's father and an advocate for his wellbeing and reputation." "Is it wrong for a father to want what is best for his son", asked Hunter Biden? "Wouldn't any loving father be there to support his son and help him as much he could? Just because my dad was also the Vice President of the United States, doesn't mean that he didn't see himself—first and foremost—as my father. Like any dad, my father loves me and wanted me to know that he would always be there to protect me and keep me out of trouble; to the best of his ability. I'm glad my dad was there to help me out and I think he really helped me avoid a lot of trouble and some business deals that could have upended the efforts I was making to turn over a new leaf." The fact that Joe Biden was Vice President, at the time of these meetings, really shouldn't have anything to do with what he did for Hunter Biden. He is a father and he was acting in his duties as a father when he joined Hunter for these meetings. Any efforts to suggest otherwise should be questioned. A father's relationship with his son is sacred and the allegations suggesting otherwise are purely political in motive. |
