JOHNSON & JOHNSON VACCINE PUT ON HOLD, NOT BECAUSE OF RISKS BUT RATHER BECAUSE ITS TOO EFFECTIVE.4/13/2021 Washington, D.C. (Wokeville Gazette) — Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Tuesday that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine pause will not cause a protracted delay and should only last "days to weeks," according to his understanding of the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.
"What I heard from the previous press discussion was it's gonna be more like days to weeks rather than weeks to months," Fauci said when asked about the extent of the delay at a White House press briefing. Dr. Fauci then reminded everyone that vaccines are created by science and that science should be trusted over evidence. "Look, the main thing we need to keep in mind here is that this is science", said Fauci. "Therefore, in spite of blood clots, deaths, COVID-19 infections, or any other adverse effects from this vaccine, it should be trusted without question." Fauci then went on to stress that since Johnson & Johnson's vaccine is a single shot vaccine, Moderna and Pfizer were starting to get jealous. These vaccines, which are the only other vaccines authorized in America for emergency use, require two shots and a waiting period between before they are fully effective. They also are only good for six months. The efficacy rate of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was not as high, but the fact that it was a single-shot meant people were ready to go after just one poke. "What we have seen, sadly, is a rise in people who only take one shot", said Fauci. "This has been an issue, for those who received the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines because they are two dose vaccines. The efficacy rate of these vaccines are only valid if both doses are taken. Therefore we are putting Jonson & Johnson on pause; not so much because it is a risk, but rather because it is too effective." Dr. Fauci also seemed to suggest it was messing with the overall timeline of vaccinations in America. "We implemented our vaccination plan prior to Johnson & Johnson approval", said Fauci. "At the rate we were able to dose, coupled with the waiting period between vaccinations, by the time every American gets vaccinated, the six month window of effectiveness would have ended, meaning it would be time to vaccinate all Americans all over again." Upon hearing this news—at Fauci's news conference—many reporters looked confused but were too afraid to question Dr. Fauci further in fear of being labeled science deniers. Therefore, the only thing we know for certain is that America will continue to lead the world in mocking and ridiculing any people who are taking a more cautious approach to vaccination, for vaccines which were rushed through to production and are being leveraged for political points and propaganda. |
