LOCAL NURSE LOSES HIS HERO STATUS, FOR FAILING TO CONFORM TO THE EXPECTATIONS OF COWARDS.

Houston, TX (Wokeville Gazette) — A local nurse was forced to return the hero badge he received last year, during the pandemic, for his failure to toe the line and comply with the mandates of his yellow-bellied bosses.

"You know, I was actually just starting to come to grips with the reality of being a hero", said Chad Moretti a nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital. "Last year was such a blur. We were literally working around the clock, six days a week, and things had finally settled down long enough for me to be able to grasp the reality of my status as an American Hero".

But that status is now being stripped away from Moretti and several other nurses, for their refusal to take the experimental and still unapproved COVID vaccine. We talked to one representative of the hospital to try and understand how someone moves from being a hero to being a villain in such a short amount of time.

"It's honestly quite simple", said Scott Dobson—a public relations officer with the hospital. "There are certain expectations required for anyone choosing to work at our hospital. During the initial phase of the pandemic, it was important for these brave men and women to throw caution to the wind and do whatever it took to ensure we saved lives. Many times, at the detriment to their own health and well-being, these nurses placed themselves in harms way, to ensure every single patient in our care received the very best chance at survival. We are grateful for their efforts and their sacrifices but we have a strict zero tolerance policy on people refusing to get vaccinated".

When pressed on how a person, like Chad Moretti—who has shown the kind of character he has—can so quickly become the new face of ignorance and stupidity, Dobson weighed in with his thoughts. 

"We will not stand for non-compliance or conscientious objection. There is far too much on the line here and we can't send mixed signals to the American public. Every single American needs to understand that if you choose not to be vaccinated, there will be consequences for your stupidity; no matter who you are or what you've done in the past. Mr. Moretti could have kept his job, if he would have simply (and publicly) acknowledged the error of his ways, apologized to all those whom he hurt by his resistance, and then renounced his convictions and accepted the good and perfect gift of Dr. Fauci's vaccination. His refusal to do so, cost him his job and we take no responsibility for the choice he forced us to make."

For Chad Moretti, he will now be left to lean on the validation of his heroic work in 2020 as he embarks on his new career at McDonalds.

"It's difficult, because I loved my job and I really enjoyed helping people and saving lives", said Moretti. "Now I'll have to settle for selling cheeseburgers to many of the same people whose lives I saved during last year's pandemic. I suppose the silver lining in all of this is that I get to work better hours, with less stress and better pay".
