MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY GETS BLASTED BY THE LEFT, FOR DARING AMERICANS TO COME TO THE MIDDLE.

The tolerant left has made the decision to eat another one of their own.

"We've been patient with Mr. McConaughey for a long time", said a representative we spoke with from one of Hollywood's production agencies. "He's a great actor and a decent human being, but he broke one of the cardinal rules in Hollywood by publicly repudiating our accepted ideologies and approved talking points."

And what was Mr. McConaughey's transgression? Answering questions, honestly. He was asked by podcast host (and former Hollywood actor), Russell Brand, whether he noticed 'condemnation and criticism of ordinary working people' in Hollywood when discussing politics. "Absolutely", McConaughey said. "There are a lot of people on that illiberal left that absolutely condescend, patronize and are arrogant toward the other 50 percent".

He then proceeded to speak about the double-standard in Hollywood, towards conservatives who are refusing to accept the 2020 election, and how they were in the same boat four years ago with their denial to accept the 2016 presidential victory of Donald Trump. "I’m sure you saw it in our industry when Trump was voted in four years ago, they were in denial that was real," McConaughey said. "Some of them were in absolute denial."

McConaughey also addressed the problems facing both the right and left. Instead of buying into either side of the extreme political polarization, McConaughey encouraged Americans to see the true brave and courageous act as walking the middle of the road—the yellow lines with the armadillos—in order to restore unity and a less polarized America. "I almost feel like it’s a move to say, 'Let’s get aggressively centric. I dare you,'" he said.

"This is intolerable", said the production agency we spoke with. "Mr. McConaughey is literally inviting, encouraging, and challenging people to embrace the nonsensical idea of making peace with our enemies. We can't stand for this. The tolerant left has a zero-tolerance policy, when it comes to this kind of ignorance and hatred, and that's non-negotiable. There is no middle ground when it comes to doing the right thing. If a person wants to be on the right side of history, then they must be on the left side of the political aisle."

At this point, the verdict is still out on how McConaughey's postcast interview will impact his changes of continuing his career in Hollywood. However, it is clear how many people on the #WOKE left are currently feeling about him.
