SANDERS' MOOD QUICKLY TURNS, THE MOMENT HE REALIZES BIDEN MIGHT BE TRYING TO SAVE AMERICA.

Yesterday was a day full of hope and celebration and joy. The previous four years, under Donald Trump's tyranny, have been full of fascism and concerted efforts by MAGA and the Republican Party to destroy democracy and erode the basic tenets of human decency.

After taking the oath of the office of the President of the United States, Joe Biden went on to give one of the most impassioned and heartwarming speeches this country has ever heard. For many in attendance, gathered on the steps of the failed coup that was planned just two weeks ago by Donald Trump, this speech was a reminder of everything America can once again become, under duly elected leadership. However, as the narrative of President Joe Biden's speech began to unfold, it was clear that not everyone in attendance was happy to hear a message of hope.

"Without unity, there is no peace, only bitterness and fury," President Biden stated. "No progress, only exhausting outrage. No nation, only a state of chaos....This is our historic moment of crisis and challenge," he continued. "And unity is the path forward".

It was at this moment, in President Biden's speech,  that Bernie Sander's posture drastically changed.

"You could literally see happening right in front of your eyes", said one person in attendance. "He slumped down in his chair, folded his arms across his chest, and began to stare off in the distance. His mind was engaged with the words coming out of Biden's mouth, but rather the words which he had already heard. It was a sad sight to see. It reminded me of my youngest child, whenever a bully takes his favorite toy from him."

We reached out to Sanders for comment and received the following statement from one of his representatives.

"Frustration doesn't even begin to capture what Comrade Sanders if feeling right now. A more fitting word might be, betrayed. When Bernie's revolution was sweeping through the DNC primaries, it was doing so with a clear vision and direction of where Comrade Sanders would be leading America. Then, during our backroom deals with the Biden campaign—after Super Tuesday--promises were made and we were given guarantees. So, we dropped out of the race and handed Joe Biden the DNC ticket. We put our full support behind the civil-unrest, which swept the nation, during the summer of 2020. We started fires, we started riots, we perpetuated the rhetoric which ensured anger and violence and unrest and directed all of that animosity towards Donald Trump. We did what needed to be done! We were faithful to the commitments we made to guarantee Donald Trump would not be reelected. So, yes, we are very disappointed to see that President Biden now seems to be making effort to suppress the fire which he used to get elected. Comrade Sanders is very concerned that President Biden now seems to be attempting to save the American Dream he promised us he would help destroy."

Though Bernie mostly kept to himself at yesterday's inauguration, his grumpy pose quickly became an internet MEME, overnight. Today, the Internet is full of various pictures and poses of Mr. Sanders in his grumpy mood.

Now it may be very difficult for President Biden to ignore the anger and animosity his inauguration speech created, not only for Mr. Sanders but also amongst those who have been waiting expectantly for President Biden to fulfill the promises he made to Bernie Sanders and his loyal revolutionaries.
