SENATE DEMOCRATS GET COMPLETELY SKUNKED IN THEIR EFFORTS TO PRESSURE JUDGE BARRETT INTO PREJUDICE.

Washington D.C. — As Day 4 of the Senate Judiciary Committee Hearings kicked off, Democrat Senators continue to express their disappointment that no matter how hard they pushed Judge Amy Coney Barrett to make a judgement, she refused to indicate how she would judge even the most inconsequential hypotheticals.

"She has quite an unbreakable poker face", said Senator Durbin. "On day one of these hearings, we asked very pointed questions about the Affordable Care Act and gun rights for felons, but we quickly discovered we were getting nowhere with these efforts." 

That certainly didn't stop the democrats from continuing their push for answers. They spent the better part of the next two days trying to reshape and reform their questions in order to get answers from Judge Barrett. However, those efforts fell short and day three of the hearings ended without any clear idea of how the President's nominee would judge anything.

"We tried everything, but the results remained the same", said Durbin. "She's consistent, I'll give her that. It didn't matter what requests for judgement we asked her, she refused them all with equal zeal. Whether we were pressing her on her stance on voter rights, or healthcare, or even global warming she was unwavering in her responses. I even made efforts to ask her to make an unambiguous judgement on whether Coke was better than Pepsi or butter was better than margarine, and we received the same kind of stonewalling. Judge Barrett refused to budge and now we are left to guess how she would judge anything."
